Love is Love Pattern

The Love is Love fabric featured in this quilt is only available through Spoonflower. Click here to order Love is Love fabric. The Cotton Poplin fabric option is recommended. While this quilt is based on the "Broken Star" quilt pattern, the "blades" are large, solid units of fabric, fussy cut from the stripe, which makes the construction less fussy and much quicker. The Love is Love appliqué can be fused, fused and stitched by machine, or sewn by hand. 

5 Yards Stripe (Love is Love fabric, see above) If using a striped fabric, 5 yards is recommended to allow for fussy cutting. 

NOTE: When choosing not to use a stripe or fussy cut fabric, only 3 yards of plain or textured fabric is needed for the blades.
