| Route 66 Bus Tour This Summer! |
 A message from Ricky: There's still time to sign up. June will be here before you know it! Have you reserved your spot on the tour? It may not be deepest darkest Africa or the Amazon rain forest, but I'm as excited about this trip as I've ever been before. It's AMERICA! Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. This land is your land, this land is my land from California to the Gulf Stream waters! Okay, we won't see the gulf, but we will see amazing things. I have personally researched and planned this trip for you. I'm leading a 15 day bus tour of Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica. That's right - the whole shebang! Each day of the tour will be set around a historic theme. I will personally be giving talks on the coaches each day to tell about the history of the area. Jim West of Sew Many Places will be traveling with us. In addition, I'm designing a quilt where each block will represent the sights we will see and things we will learn. After the tour you will be able to make your own commemorative quilt about the Mother Road - Route 66. There will be times when we will diverge slightly from Route 66 to see additional sights like Branson, MO, Sante Fe, NM (actually, once part of Route 66) and the Grand Canyon!
