This festive quilt features Ricky's Hand-dyed Caveman Brite fabrics, solid black fabric, and seven spools of Superior thread. Also included in the kit is enough Ricky Tims Stable Stuff for the project.
This is the perfect quilt to show off your machine's wonderful, fancy stitches. You will need a circular attachment for your machine. Check with your sewing machine dealer if you don't have one. CIRCULAR SEWING TIP
Make your own circular attachment using a flat thumb tack and masking tape. Position it to the left of your needle, but remember it has to be positioned in various places to create different size circles.

| A Note From Ricky About Denmark |

I just had the great pleasure of teaching at the 25th Anniversary of the Danish Patchwork Association in Odense, Denmark. Hear about the trip and see some amazing quilts by watching the video chat I had with Alex Anderson after I arrived home. Click HERE to watch the short video.

| Entry Deadline Sept 30th! |

Ricky is still accepting entries for the upcoming quilt exhibit he will be curating at the Road to California Quilt Show 2012 - "The Best Quilt Show in the West" - from January 19-22, 2012. Anyone wishing to submit a quilt for this exhibit is welcome to do so, provided the work is an improvisational design. You can enter as many quilts as you like. There is no cost for entering. The deadline is September 30, 2011.

In 2005 Ricky planted a oak tree in Ireland. Wonder if it's still alive?
Ricky will be escorting a group of quilters to Ireland in June 2012 to witness firsthand the magic and enchantment of the Emerald Isle. Ireland is a fantasy destination and what better way to see it than with Ricky Tims and other quilt enthusiasts? In addition, Ricky himself has handcrafted a tour of Historic Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angeles. This trip will happen in June of 2013.
