The Lady Of Shalott Inspired by Libby Where In The World Id Ricky?
|
The Lady Of Shalott |
Alfred Lord Tennyson’s famous poem, The Lady of Shalott, inspired Ricky's beautiful Rhapsody quilt. The design has an imagined King Arthurian style that befits the poem’s setting to nearby Camelot and references the legendary Sir Lancelot. This month we offer a sneak peek in the mirror. Next month Ricky will reveal the full finished quilt. The pattern and/or the kit (in two color-ways) will be available for sale in July. Prepare for your Lady of Shalott quilt experience by adding to your music library Loreena McKinnett’s stunning musical rendition of the The Lady of Shalott from her album titled The Visit - available on iTunes.

Inspired By Libby |
Libby Lehman, a beloved woman, wife, mother, talented quilter, teacher, and artist is struggling with multiple medical issues following her illness last spring. Her personality and sense of humor is leading the charge for recovery. Team Libby and her quilting friends are her support through this time. What’s left? Well, what do quilters do at times like this? Make quilts. An invitation was sent out last fall to award winning quilters and teachers to create a 30x30 quilt inspired by one of Libby’s quilts, to be auctioned to aide the family with the medical bills.
