My AI app was Wonder and the style was Graffiti. My prompt was “An ostrich running with a green feathered boa around its neck and a purple feathered hat on its head”Even though the colors were reversed for the boa and the hat, I still liked it. From the look on her face I wouldn’t want to mess with her!

I thought about doing a selfie dressed up as a geek - it fits! But I realized I took many photos of our new "creek" in Missouri and that works too. There are a series of little ponds and waterfalls. This image went into Becasso for a painterly effect - then in Photoshop, I blended that with the original. There were a couple of garden soil bags and a bucket that I removed. A new leaf vacuum/mulcher is on its way. We will see how that goes later in April en route to Paducah (my 32 years!)

The Big Idea. I spent some time this week trying to come up with a good concept/idea for this week's challenge. The fact that it could be almost anything actually made it seem more difficult. Then suddenly, the lightbulb came on. So I took a picture of it!

A lightbulb, a sparkler, a reflective surface, a black background, and a little bit of putty to hold the lightbulb and sparkler in place, turn out the lights, light the sparkler and start taking pictures. I took a bunch of one second exposures in my basement and prayed my wife wouldn't smell the smoke!

I took a picture of the painting of my great grandfather grading field corn. It was painted by Rollin Beard who was the first boy born in the village of Moville. I truly cherish this painting, since I knew my great grandfather until he died when I was in the 6th grade. I used percolator to add the circles, but the ends of the corn on the shelf were circles to begin with.

I have a birthday comeing up. My husband for years bought me flowers. We have now both developed allergies so that practice is over.
My non-allergenic roses were created in Dream with a simple prompt:Tall vase with roses on a table in front of a window overlooking a meadow. I played with most of the styles and chose this one because I liked the reflective colors in the black vases.
No more sneezing at my house this April.
Enjoy!

I used the Firefly app for this. IIt took a while to get some ships that were shaped somewhat like swans. Prompt "View of the heavenly Tolkien city of Valinor. That city was the haven of their ships; and those ships were made in the likeness of swans, with beaks of gold and eyes of gold and jet. The gate of that harbor was an arch of living rock sea-carved; The beaches were strewn with gemstones."

I usd MidJourney and my promt came from a portion of the text - rewritten just a bit for clarity: A fairytale, mistical, and glorious city with a harbor, a haven for ships that are made in the likeness of swans, with beaks of gold and eyes of gold and jet. The gate of that harbour was an arch of living rock sea-carved; and the light of the stars was bright and clear. I manged to get a few images with swan ships, but I liked this one as it felt more elvenish and I like the magic in the sky.

Window (without a view)
The roof slid on the east side of the house this week...
The ski area has had over 300" of snow since November and 24" in the past 3 days. I don't think we'll be using this door for a couple of months. The snow bank is about 10' deep on this side of the house and we only get about half the amount of snow that falls on the ski area 7 miles south east of here. I'm not complaining... Utah, Arizona and California need the water. They can have it when we're done with it.

One of the crew had to figure out how to filter strong sunlight coming into our set on Sunday morming through several very high windows. Fortuntaly there was an upstairs balcony and he didn't need a ladder. I used the distort tool to adjust so the angles were not skewed looking from below. White trash bags seemed to do the trick.
