I want to make a lap size quilt using 4 fabrics and the convergent method. My final quilt size would be around 70 x 40. Can you tell me how large to cut my 4 squares?

I have been thinking of a quilt using your convergence method so I bought your book. I want to use 4 fabrics and have them converge horizontally and vertically. The quilt I want to make is going to be lap size - maybe 70" or so by maybe 40". I don't have any idea how large to cut the four blocks in order to have my final result be the right size. Any advice???

Ricky, when y'all are manning your booth at IQF Houston this year, I would enjoy your help in choosing fabrics for a convergence quilt. I'd like to use the bright and pastel caveman fabrics, along with a totally contrasting colored fabric. I want to get really creative with it.
