My heart goes out to those in the path of the storm. It is bearing down on New Orleans at this moment. I hope Isaac doesn't pack a devastating punch.
Today I put the borders on my little Montana Star quilt. As I mentioned previously it's a sample quilt for a segment that I will be teaching on The Quilt Show. It's another good quilt for me to practice quilting on the Gammill. I still don't think I have control. I feel the results are adequate, but far from any standard that I would want on one of my show quilts. Nonetheless, it's a good experience and I'm learning.
As far as my quilting entertainment, I've been watching reruns of one of my favorite British sit-coms - Absolutely Fabulous. If you know the show, raise your hand. So funny... I'm just sayin'...

Miguel shared the stage of the seminar on the last afternoon. Here is a photo of a very rare sighting. Have you ever seen a little green man and a quilt in the same photo? I'm just sayin'...

Okay, I almost forgot to show you the back of the quilt! I've had this Alexander Henry fabric for a long time and I finally found a use for it. Hope it gets a chuckle or two.
