Lifelines III: Can Something Come From Nothing?

I love the center diamond – or diamond in a square design. This improvisational version includes my pieced-in ‘lifelines’ - the skinny inset yellow lines that simply stop in much the same way lifelines on our hands stop.

This is the first time I included quilted text, to create another form of ‘life lines’. The bright scrolls were couched using the Bernina free-motion couching foot.
