Lucky for Me – A short story by Ricky Tims
Travels:
Fairfax,
Va; Cincinnati, Oh, Chagrin Falls, OH; RMQR, CO; International Quilt
Market/Festival; TX
Does this man ever stop? Ricky started October with a teaching/lecture tour to
Fairfax, Virgina for the Virginia Quilters Unlimited. Following this leg of his trip, Ricky continued on to
Cincinnati, Ohio for the Ohio Valley Quilt Guild and then on to Chagrin
Falls, Ohio to the Chagrin Valley Quilt Guild.
Again, many, many thanks go out to all those involved to make this
extended trip such a success. October
12-19 will find Ricky at his annual Rocky Mountain
Quilt Retreat in Colorado Springs, Colorado followed immediately by the International
Quilt Market and Festival in Houston, Texas.
If you’re in the Houston area, stop by and see Ricky and
Justin in booth 1547/1549.
Ricky
would like to extend his warmest appreciation to all those associated with his
trips in September: West Sound Quilters in Port Orchard, Washington; Pieces
Quilt Shop in Renton, Washington; Martha Pullen and her staff at Martha’s
Quilt Academy 2003 in Huntsville, Alabama; Cabin Fever Quilters in
Fairbanks, Alaska; Quilt Kits Alaska in Kenai, Alaska and finally, the Log
Cabin Quilters in Anchorage, Alaska.

Ricky’s new book, Convergence Quilts has finally arrived!
It is truly a beautiful book with lots of color, beautiful quilts,
(Ricky’s along with 53 other’s), and easy, detailed instructions.
The book will
be available on the Ricky Tims Internet Store once the guys return from Houston.
They’re sorry for this delay but hope you understand the scheduling
constraints.
If you simply can’t wait that long, check with your local quilt
shop
It truly is, a beautiful book.
Those
of you who pre-purchased at Martha Pullen’s Quilt Academy, the Alaska
tour, and the Fairfax, Virginia, Cincinnati and Chagrin Falls, Ohio tour,
your books will be autographed and sent over the next couple of weeks.
We’re sorry for this delay, but they will be sent to you while
the guys are in Houston.
