Volume II, Issue

Monday – April 28, 2003
Travels:
Ireland;
Chicago, IL
Well, April is almost over and Ricky has racked-up the miles once more. April found Ricky in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, followed by
Chicago for Spring Festival, and finally, Paducah for the AQS Show.
For May, Ricky
and Justin will travel through Ireland where Ricky will be teaching and
lecturing. After the tour
in Ireland is over, these two will travel to North Wales where they’ll visit
their friends, Rebecca & Barrie Collins.
On their way back to the U.S., they will stop in Chicago to visit the
North Surburban Quilt Guild where Ricky will teach and lecture.
Quilt
Awards:
Bohemian
Rhapsody & New World Symphony
Both
of Ricky’s quilts
were entered in last month’s shows. The
following are the results:
Quilter’s Heritage – “Bohemian
Rhapsody” – 3rd place in Applique
“New
World Symphony” - Judges
Choice
AQS – “Bohemian Rhapsody” – 1st place Mixed
Technique/Professional

DVD's
& VHS:
VHS are ready to ship
Finally,
after numerous delays by the manufacturer, the Quilting Caveman
Style and Fishin’ VHS’s
are ready to ship. Ricky and Justin will have 1 day between returning from
Paducah and leaving for Ireland in which to package and ship those that have
been pre-purchased. The VHS tab
on the website will be turned-on as well so those who have been waiting
paitently will be able to place their order online.
Internet
Store :
Temporarily Closed
With the trips to Paducah
and Ireland, the Internet Store will be closed until Justin returns after May 19th.
You may still place orders on the web or leave wholesale orders by phone,
but please be aware they will not be processed until then.
They are very sorry for this inconvenience, but hope
you understand.
So
ends another edition of the Ricky Tims Gazette. They’re
sorry for such a sparse newsletter this month, but trying to type in pickup going
down I-70 in Missouri was not the easiest thing to do. Till
next month, take your allergy pill, take a deep breath of your Spring fragrances,
and enjoy life’s
little moments for who knows, they may be big ones later.
